October's Theme Reveal: "Wild & Lovely"
This month's theme is about the natural world seen up close, from finely detailed realism to a touch of whimsy. It is about the feeling of noticing something small and wild and giving it your full attention. You can read more about the theme here.
Carefully Observed
Flowers, fungi, and still life, painted or photographed with careful, true-to-life detail.
Whimsy in the Wild
Woodland creatures and winged visitors in storybook scenes with a touch of magic.
Intricate and Unexpected
Finely worked details and botanical oddities that reward a second look.
A Note From Lola
We're busy bees over here working on our next packet. I'm thrilled for the theme, "Wild & Lovely," and can't wait for you to see the art our collective has created for it.
Our next online meetup is Tuesday 10/20/26, from 6-8p ET. It's a few days before my birthday, so I will be working on my vision spread for the coming year. I hope you will join us. Come anytime, and come as you are! Check out all our events here.
Meanwhile, please enjoy a blooper shot from when I attempted to film a video for our socials and was most certainly out of frame the entire time.
